Around 13 million people visit our waterways every year and to make their visit is as safe as possible we publish as set of visitor guidance, called the Waterways Codes. We also provide advice, in the form of a checklist, for school visits.
Visits to our waterways are on the whole safe and accident free, however, if you do have an incident on our waterways we are keen to know about it. Please fill in one of our Visitor Incident forms.
